3 D model alterations in Abaqus(cae file)

Hello All,
I am doing a project on contact analysis of hip implant.I am currently facing some problem in altering geometry of bone written written as cae file in Abaqus.I have to cut the femur head,I am not been able to cut the femur head as I have to draw a circle at the place of cut as seen from top view.
It would be really helpful,if anyone could help me with this.

Looking forward for some help

Thank you

Not sure exactly what you mean but try creating a plane away from the body and then sketching on that plane the cut you want to make and then extrude the cut either blind or through all.
