Servo Motors

(OP)
I want to set up a servo motor connection between two parts where the separation between the two drives the rotation of one of the parts.

I think I need to use a user defined function but I have never used this before and don't know where to start.

If I could use a table for the values this would also work but as far as I can see, the driver of the motor is always "time", if this could be changed to the separation I could then fill in the data.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible or how to write a user defined formula for a servo motor that I could easily change by small amounts to optimise my design.

Thank You..
