Leaking of Hydronic Valves & Kits

(OP)
Hi,
I am concerened about the reliability of the hookup components ie: flow control valves, balancing valves, unions, P/T port etc...that are used to connect the system distribution piping to the coils.

There has been projects where the hose kit or some other hookup part has failed and large water damage has resulted.

Does any one have any experience, knowledge or comments on these sort of problems.  What are some other options?

Regards,
