Hi, we have a section of turbine exhaust ducting to make, the original (old) drawings specify this grade, and the customer requires the same or equivalent grade. I've found EN 10028-7 that covers it, but I've drawn a complete blank on finding the actual equivalent grade. If anyone can help out on this it would be very much appreciated!

RE: BS 1501-151 23A

BS 1501-151-23A is a carbon steel boiler plate.

The 23A bit refers to UTS minimum of 23 Tons/in2  and yield of 13.1. Max carbon of 0.18%.

EN 10028 Part 7 is for stainless steels.

An appropriate equivalent would be EN 10028 Part 2 (flat products made for pressure purposes, Part 2 non-alloy steels with specified elevated temperature properties.)

Grade P235GH steel number 1.0473. There are slight differences in room temp mechanical properties, but the EN steel has slightly higher yield and UTS specifications.

That's exactly what I needed! Thank you very much.
