Sound file of bad bearing?

Sound file of bad bearing?

Sound file of bad bearing?

(OP)
Was just curious, does anyone have a sound file (mp3, wav, etc) of the sound of a bad bearing compared to a good bearing?
I don't work in that field but always hear about this so I'm curious to actually hear the difference myself.

TIA.

RE: Sound file of bad bearing?

A bad bearing will typically have a distinct metal sound like there is no lubrication .The higher the RPM,the higher the frequency. I may be able to record and convert the file to an MP3 format. What type of machine are you concerned about?
