Plastic Waste Tanks Structural Check

Plastic Waste Tanks Structural Check

(OP)
I have been instructed to check the structural integrity of two 5'x5'x3.5' tall waste tanks. One tank is made of polypropylene (polypro) and the other tank is made of Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) material. I have the material properties for both materials. Do I need to check the tanks for yielding or ultimate stress? What kind of factor of safety should I use? Are there any design codes and specifications that I should follow? Thank you very much for any help I can get.
