A coworker of mine is having a problem with the PIPES routine in LDD. When she goes to Manning Circluar her machine displays the following warning- BUFFER OVERRUN DETECTED..then her CAD crashes.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance!

RE: LDD 2005 pipe routine chaos

I am not familiar with the program, but it sounds like it is caught in a loop or is running out of memory space while computing something.

Do you mean the 'Hydrology' menu, not 'Pipes'?  The only Mannings Circular option I can find is under Hydrology.

Yes, that is correct...my bad.

However, even with just the regular pipe routine, CAD will often freeze up and crash. It seems to be a problem with everyone, so I assume it's a bug in the system. I was hoping that anyone who has had the same problem may have figured out a way to correct it, or perhaps something that could be done to prevent it from happening.

You may try to AUDIT the drawings and see if that fixes anything.
