Does anyone know if pile driving rigs fall under the C&D Dept. of buildings code in NYC?

I cant find any real information online..

RE: Cranes and Derricks

I'm not sure but the answer is probably yes, since NYC has some many rules and regulations governing construction. Try calling the C&D section at 212-566-4698.

On a road or a bridge (even those not being performed under a city contract) job cranes, derricks, shovels, and similar equipment fall under the jurisdiction of DOT & DOB as well as the noise code provisions.
