(OP)
I am interested to know how other truss designers/engineers are handling multiple bearing (3 or more) trusses.  Who is applying the alternate span live loading to the trusses.  I guess one could argue that when snow load is the controlling factor, you will not need to apply alternate span loading.  Thoughts?

RE: Alternate span live loading on roof trusses

IBC 2000 section 1607.11.1 outlines this about Roof LIVE loads.  For snow loads, they reference out to ASCE 7 which I think Section 7.5 in ASCE 7 outlines the partial loading requirements.
