Simulating a fabric/cloth panel and springs
Simulating a fabric/cloth panel and springs
(OP)
Hello all,
I'd like to know how to go about simulating a thin rectangular fabric/cloth panel that would be rolled on and off a round tube as part of an assembly. Could this cloth be made slightly transparent? At the bottom of the panel would be a small extruded shape that would act as a weight. I've noticed Solidworks is able to simulate a motor and would like to incorporate this into the design along with proper gravity.
I'd also like to know how to create a compression spring.
Thanks

To attain the appearance of cloth, apply a texture. Transparency can also be applied to any solid via the RMB.
