Hi guys,
I am checking the calculation of the PSV for the Electrical Seal Heater.
In calculation stated that the sources of fire being confirmed.
What should I consider as a credible source of fire ?

Anything that would lead to a "pool fire" in the same area or in an area adjacent to Electrical Seal Heater. We consider a liquid that is below it's flashpoint and more combustible/flammable than an NFPA Class IIIB to have risk of a pool fire. So, a pipeline that runs through the areas, a tank in the areas, a pump in the areas, etc.

Typcially, during the design, the original engineer will state fire case, and give source(s) of fire.
