Failed "match control" in WB - any tips?

Failed "match control" in WB - any tips?

Failed "match control" in WB - any tips?

(OP)
Hi,

I sometimes have a problem in WB v.11 with the "Match Control" in order to have the mesh pattern be identical on two faces which are the "low-" and "high-edge" of a cyclic sector.
Let's consider that the two faces respect the two main conditions for cyclic-symmetry:
- they are topologically identical
- the coordinate transformation needed to shift from any point of the "low-edge" face to its homologous on the "high-edge" is a pure-rotation around the Z-axis of a cylindrical coordinate system.
These two conditions are ensured by the fact that the cyclic sector has been "cut" in the CAD system out from a "full-360°" model.

Nevertheless, sometimes the mesh process skips the "Match Control" and marks this object with a "denial" symbol.
Why????

Has anyone of you also had this problem, and resolved it in some way (or clearly understood the conditions under which it can happen)?

I've already spoken with our reseller, and they are also working on the problem, but at this moment with no luck...

Thank you in advance,
regards.
