proper temperature for inspection. where? why?
(OP)
I have an inspection question. Wherever i have worked they always say that the part, surface to inspect on, and the gaging equipment must all be between 68-72 degrees F.
Where is this officially stated?
Does anyone have experience with heat charts/graphs to machine and inspect parts in a 70-80 degree building, but also pass inspection once in the 68 degree CMM room?
thanks,
