AHU performance data

AHU performance data

AHU performance data

(OP)
Hi Guys,
I am doing an evaluation on two older AHU's.  Does anyone have any idea on these models numbers I took from the lables on the cabinet:
1- Trane Type CCDB 50 HG0J

2- Buffalo type J  size: 390 BPC14
   Shop order 71N 7302

Any info on these units is appreciated.

Regards,

RE: AHU performance data

Your Trane rep can probably give you some good info.  They have all sorts of records on almost every ahu, chiller, etc they have ever built.  Even without a serial number a lot of times they can find the original order sheets with just a model number, date, and shipping location.  I would think Buffalo could do the same.  Give them some time it may take a couple of days or even a week to find it.
Just a side note, they usually have all the detailed information on type of coil, fan, etc.  They may or may not have any design performance data so you may still have to do some engineering to get some base performance numbers.  Also, depending on age, there is a good chance that some sort of change; motor, fan, coil, pulley, might have been made so I would advise going back on-site and checking what the factory gives you.
