Simple question for you. What do we call the build up of fatty deposits in water pipes (mains).

I've been working in Norway for 6 years and I've started to forget my technical English. Very sad I know. (they call it 'biohud' in Norwegian which is biological skin - if you were wondering)

Cheers. Sean.

RE: Deposits in pipes

I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for, but if you do a search under 'bio film' or 'biofilm' etc. I suspect you might find some English language articles that might be of interest to you.

Just what I needed - my day is rolling to an end so thanks that you came up with the goods so quickly.

Cheers. Sean.
