NODE SELECTION

NODE SELECTION

NODE SELECTION

(OP)
Hi;

I want to select nodes that are associated with solids (I want to create one group for each FEM element associated with my solids, but i have to mesh two solid at the same time becouse i have to assembly them). I want to do this, bacouse i would like to plot FEM solid's results individually.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks again.

RE: NODE SELECTION

Can you be more clear. You have two solids that you want to assembly mesh. Are the two solids in different groups? You could hide one of the solids and go to Tools--FEM---Node--Associate--Solid--Apply in List A and add to group. Then select elements associated with these nodes typing 'lista' in the blank area. Meaning:
Tools--FEM---Element--Associate--Nodes--List A -- apply in List B and add to group.

Hope this helps

harry
