Hi,

Is there a way to automatically have WB save simulation results once the simulation has completed?

RE: Ansys workbench save option?

Hi,
I don't understand the question: WB does save the results! If you want it to be sure it will save also the "Ansys Classical" files (db and rst), then enable "save ANSYS files" in the Solution settings (but if you need only the rst, it should save it by default).

Hi the question is to have WB save AUTOMATICALLY once job is finished, ie. without me being at the computer and clicking on save.

RE: Ansys workbench save option?

Hi,
it depends if you want the rst or the dsdb file being saved: the rst is saved at the end of the solve stage, even if you don't save the dsdb. As for saving the dsdb, well, I don't know... Can't you solve your loadcases in batch mode, so that the needed files are saved "by definition"?
