"Don't ask me again" annoyance

"Don't ask me again" annoyance

"Don't ask me again" annoyance

(OP)
I get tired of clicking, "Don't ask me again" when opening up an assembly on a fresh start of SW2007 or switching to an assembly whose parts have changed every new session of SW2007.

I've looked for options to tell it to ALWAYS regenerate and to always roll forward, etc... but haven't found any.

Anyone know of if this is possible and where?

RE: "Don't ask me again" annoyance

Give PTFB a look.  It's an external app that you can tell which dialog boxes to automatically dismiss.

RE: "Don't ask me again" annoyance

I put in an Enhancement Requests.
My company will not let us run 3rd party software.

Bradley,
What do you mean by "third party software?"  You mean software that hasn't been approved by your IT group?  Dang, what a pain!

RE: "Don't ask me again" annoyance

handleman,
Yes, software that hasn't been approved by your IT group.
Here is what we get by clicking on PTFB.

Jeff,
No to both:

So, are you restricted from running software, or just accessing it over the internet?  Got a USB flash drive?

RE: "Don't ask me again" annoyance

handleman,
There are too many of use for the company to watch. They do restrict the sites, I could bring from home. If anything goes wrong they say “Bad boy”.

Well, it looks like that governing software isn't so easily fooled (which is good--no point in being able to change the URL to get to "controlled" content--some software is easily fooled).

Reason trumps all.  And awe transcends reason.

RE: "Don't ask me again" annoyance

Jeff,
I was really bothered by the SolidWorks sites from being blocked in the beginning. Now I accept it as a challenge to get IT to unblock the sites. Anything that is SolidWorks related they will unblock. If they don’t unblock it, I go to upper management.
