Selectable Sketch Origin?

Selectable Sketch Origin?

Selectable Sketch Origin?

(OP)
I know this was talked about a while back, but I did several searches and couldn't find anything.

How can I get my sketch origin to be selectable directly from within the sketch? I used to be able to do this. I think it was SP3.0 that I lost this ability. Now I have to select it from the history list and it's becomming a pain.

Thanks
Tom

RE: Selectable Sketch Origin?

As was mentioned in thread559-182246: SP 3.0 cannot see origin in sketch, the sketch origin has never been selectable!

The sketch origin exists only to hang the Sketch Co-ordinate Triad from ... to show the X,Y and Z of the sketch. What was being selected was the underlying main origin. The sketch origin merely lies on top of it. If you move the sketch so that the sketch origin moves away from the main origin, you will see that the sketch origin is not selectable.

Thanks Scott, that was simple enough.
