Experience coating heat exchanger tubes with teflon

(OP)
Does anyone have experience with the performance of coating the OD of carbon steel tubes with teflon for service in heat exchanger that is occasionally exposed to sulfuric acid?  I found one reference http://www.corrview.com/tech_m_11.htm but wasn't sure if anyone had good/bad excperience with that.

My application is for an olefin chiller for which carbon steel should be adequate in the absence of acid carryover from the acid settlers. I was asked what might be a good upgrade for the tubes and settled on alloy 20. My preference is to fix the process, but if they need an upgrade, alloy 20 is my suggestion. I wasn't sure if the cost of alloy 20 would be a deal breaker though. The chiller typically runs at <60 F.
