(OP)
Hi Everybody

I have defined a model and assigned all the propreties to the solid and surfaces but I still have this error
message:

4234 elements have missing property definitions. The elements have been identified in element set ErrElemMissingSection.

Analysis Input File Processor exited with an error.

May somebody help me please ?

RE: error

Go in viewer, check where is element set "ErrElemMissingSection". That is the element you did not not assigned material.

Or, go to viewer>colour Code Dialog (at the top)> by material> then you can check which type of element have assigned which material.

Hope this help

RE: error

(OP)
I have applied it but the model has the same colour.
The problem may come from the definition of the surface definition that I have done with the rebar layers.

If anybody has encountered the problem, don't hesitate to answer.

Thank you yoman

RE: error

where is that element set "ErrElemMissingSection"?
Is it a single red dot?

RE: error

(OP)
yes

RE: error

Check if thar red node is on coord (0,0,0). if that the case. then it is because the elements "ErrElemMissingSection" you created have nodes that without given location (coord). Hence ABAQUS put it to the (0, 0, 0).

get the node plot up and ensure that you have those nodes in the correct coord.

Is this what it happened?

RE: error

(OP)
No but I have fixed this problem by changing the element type and it was working. In fact, there was a geometric conflict.

Thank you for your help
