Reload in SP3.1

Reload in SP3.1

Reload in SP3.1

(OP)
Is anyone else having a problem with the reload command.  It doesn't seem to be working for me.

RE: Reload in SP3.1

Are you referring to the "Update / Reload all from vault" command in PDMWorks?

RE: Reload in SP3.1

... or the Reload function within SolidWorks itself?

Are you getting an error message?
Is the dialogue box opening?
Are you in a multi-user environment?
What options are you trying to use?

cheers

RE: Reload in SP3.1

(OP)
I was working in an assembly which contained parts and sub assy's.  I opened one of the sub's and made some changes.  I decided to scrap the changes so i did a file-reload.  This didn't work.  I figured it was because of my parent assy so I tried it from there.  Still no luck.  If my memory serves me I think I have done this numerous times in the past without any issue.  ???

Allows you to reload documents. This is useful, for example, if, in a multi-user environment, you have read-only access and want to reload the latest version with any changes made by another user. You can also set document read/write status in the Reload dialog box and undo changes since the last Save operation.

Did you do a save before trying the reload?
Do you have the auto-save option enabled?

cheers
