seeking for more fast animator

i have a animation work. But when i placed a key, i am waiting the rebuilt process.. It takes long time for each key. Pressing esc key is not solution. Do i need more fast computer. ? have coreduo 2.4ghz,2gb ram and quadro fx 560.

Animator is very buggy. You can get good results from it, but it takes much more time because the "rebuilds" often trash your key points and lots of other problems result when you have parts moved as a result of other parts being moved (dependent movement).
Ironically, when I save an assembly with an animation as an eDrawing, the animation in the eDrawing plays much more smoothly than in SolidWorks. So I use this feature commonly with clients. (The animation isn't rendered with PhotoWorks or anything, but the idea translates well.)
