Wblock with PS Layouts included?

Wblock with PS Layouts included?

Wblock with PS Layouts included?

(OP)
I've searched, but been unable to locate a thread from a little while back.  A method was provided which allowed the paperspace layouts to be included in the wblock command, which I used to think was model space specific.

Thanks in advance

RE: Wblock with PS Layouts included?

I am not sure what you are trying to do, however, if you are trying to make a WBLOCK of an object in paper space, the only thing that you will capture will be objects drawn in PS.  Ojects drawn in MS would not be captured in this attempt.
So, if you do a WBlOCK in PS, it would be for something like an attributed titleblock with a border.

I'm was trying to wblock all my model space stuff, and all of the paper space layouts, while executing the WBLOCK command in model space.

RE: Wblock with PS Layouts included?

If you are trying to capture your model space entities and the paperspace layouts, run the wblock command, specify "*" instead of "all" when selecting entities. ALL will only pick up the entities in the current "space".

I'll check back to see how it went.

Good luck,
C.Fee
