Hi guys,

FA-20 alloy normally used as pump material  for corrosive service. can anybody tell me FA-20 chemical properties and composition.

Thanks

RE: FA-20 alloy

Maybe a cross between Haynes' Ferralium® & Carpenter's Alloy 20™?
Ferralium®255: Ni 5, Cr 25, Mo 3, Cu 2, Mn 1.5
Carpenter 20™: Ni 34, Cr 20, Mo 2.5, Cu 3.5, Cb 8 x C

thanks Ken

it is Carpenter's Alloy.

RE: FA-20 alloy

It is a cast version of alloy 20.
The UNS is N08007 (CN-7M).  Many people assign there own names, even if they don't modify the chemistry.
