Installation Manager problems

Installation Manager problems

Installation Manager problems

(OP)
Anyone having trouble with the installation manager. When I try an upgrade from SP 3.0 to SP 3.1 I get a message about the file being moved or some other jibberish. I had no problem upgrading from 1.0 to 3.0 a month or two back.

thanks

RE: Installation Manager problems

Yes, we all get that comment every now and then. Say yes to installing the installation manager.

Not sure you understand my problem. I do have the installation manager installed. When I try and use it now to upgrade to SolidWorks SP 3.1 I get an error.

RE: Installation Manager problems

Does the error keep you from saying yes to reinstall? I say reinstall and move on.

RE: Installation Manager problems

Are you using an admin install or regular install?

Are you usually requested to insert the original CDs/DVD?

cheers
