Bending radius for hydraulic tubing/pipe

I would like to bend some tubing and was wondering what factor to use? What radius can you bend pipe or tubing where the pipe of tubing will not get cracks or burst under pressure. The pressure in the pipe will be about 2850 PSI. Is there a book or website that may have these factors.

One approach might be to look at ASME B31.1 Power Piping paragraph 102.4.5 for determininng the "after bending" wall thickness for various bend radii. To determine what extrado and intrados ticknesses you NEED you might want to look at B31.3 Process Piping paragraph 304.2. Or you could look to BS EN 13490-3 for the required extrado and intrados ticknesses.

1- You need to check you are using suitable tube. Normally cold drawn seamless tube is used.
2- Typically the minimum bend radius is 2x the diameter of tube you are using. Most reputable brand benders adhere to this. You can, however get other sizes, ie 4x etc upon request.
