FAQ and Macros

FAQ and Macros

(OP)
I've been searching the FAQ pages and have found what appear to be some very useful Macros.  However I can't seem to download anything.  When I select the "macro" hyper-link I get an add.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, Folks.

RE: FAQ and Macros

Looks to me like you have to copy and paste them into your application.

RE: FAQ and Macros

sdb999,

Are you referring to the macro code in this area's FAQ section?  If so, Bradley's comment applies.  Just be careful when copying/pasting from text to the application, because lines of code might be broken in funny places, so the code may need repairing once before you can use it.

RE: FAQ and Macros

Don't click on the "macro" hyperlink. That is only part of the title for the list of links below it.

The green-double-underlining of keywords throughout Eng-Tips is known as "IntelliText" ... although many members have other names for it. lol

It is part of their revenue generating scheme which helps keep the site free for the members.

Thanks All, It's been a while since I've messed with macros but I'm fine now.
