Plugging-in a Portal Script into the ODB session

Plugging-in a Portal Script into the ODB session

Plugging-in a Portal Script into the ODB session

(OP)
hello
I am trying to Plug-in one of the scripts already existing (and ready for use) in Process Automation Portal http://www.abaqus.com/PAPortal/ .First,  I open my ODB file (which needs to be  communicated  with the script in the Portal),  then in ODB  I went to Plug-in then ABAQUS then Process Automation Portal (where I located my desired script) but I do not know further how to bring it to my ODB session.
Did anybody have to Plug-in a script from the Protal before. Please advice

RE: Plugging-in a Portal Script into the ODB session

You need to download the plugin file (probably a zip archive) first. Then you extract the plugin to your "abaqus_plugins" directory. You may need to create this directory - do so in your working directory:

I.e.
If your working (startup) diretcory is
d:/users/abc/abq_work

Then create:
d:/users/abc/abq_work/abaqus_plugins/

Copy the zip file to this new directory.
Right click - "extract to here"

Start /CAE.
