I'm working on a design for a pressure swing adsorber system (PSA) to separate CO2 from my product stream.

The vessel has been used so that very few pressurizations would be done in its operational life.

During the adsorbing time, the vessel is running at 130psig.
During the desorbing time, the vessel may go as low as -5psig.  
I expect 26,000 cycles (0,130,-5,0 psig) per year.
The vessel is made of AISI 304L SS.
It needs to meet requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

I'm having trouble identifying what part(s) of the code deal with this sort of thing. Specifically, any parts of the code that deal with pressure cycling are of interest.

I have been working with various parts of Section VIII Division I, but I'm starting to suspect that I'll need to get Section II or III.

Take a close look at VIII Div 2 App 4 and 5... This approach is generally acceptable for use on Div 1 vessels.  But hire an experienced hand to help you out until you have developed some personal experience...

What I meant to say in my last line was;

JTE is right.
VIII Div 2, App 5 provides guidelines for fatigue analysis.  However, pay you most attention to all welds where stress concerntration has always been the fatigue initiation point.
If you want to take a consevertive approach, PD5500 may be an easier method.
