Warning: Suppress is only temporary
Warning: Suppress is only temporary
(OP)
Hi,
When I suppress parts and sub assemblies in one of my sub assemblies I get a warning saying that the suppression is temporary. When I resume one of the suppressed components that generated this type of warning it causes the other suppressed components to resume. This is a pain.
How can I solve this problem and make the suppress command non-temporary?

I modified the generic assembly and it worked to my satisfaction this time. I suppose I need to look deeper into the techniques you are describing if I want to make modifications to individual assemblies that are governed by the generic assembly.

Simplified reps work exactly like family tables, the functionality is all done with hidden family tables. Since simplified reps can not do anything that a family table can not do, i find the family table functionality easier to work with as the table is visible & editable. Many people seem to take the opposite approach.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew it went something like that. ;o)
I just didn't check it on a real model before posting...
