347 voltage connectors ?

347 voltage connectors ?

347 voltage connectors ?

(OP)
There are new 347 ballast disconnects on the market for fluorecent lighting, I believe legislation has been passed that they will appear in all new light fixtures 347 volt.

Q -  Can these connectors be used in regular 120 volt lighting or has there been or will be a Canadian Electrical Code change that states that these orange style seperation connectors have to be used on 347 volt lighting ONLY ?

RE: 347 voltage connectors ?

It is usually acceptable to use equipment at less than its rated voltage.
However I am going to watch for more information on this topic.
