RE: Motor connections to my VERSAMAX PLC

Is this a joke?

and for others who got it please suggest!

RE: Motor connections to my VERSAMAX PLC

We are having trouble with the fact that you've "finished the software" for something you seem not to understand in the first place..  You know, "garbage in Garbage out"?  So it would help if you could describe more about your task as we're kinda confused.

hi keith..
wat I mean is that i've developed the ladder logic diagram for the star delta connection.
now i want to drive a relays through the PLC output, which in turn would control the motor connections.
This PLC has nine 2A internal relay outputs..can you let me known wat this might mean? i mean does it mean that PLC outputs will be able to source 2A?

RE: Motor connections to my VERSAMAX PLC

Depending on which VersaMax relay output module you have the answer is yes, BUT the common can only handle a maximum of 4 Amps. So if you put a 2 Amp load on each of the outputs and turn them all on at the same time you will blow a fuse.

thanks
another problem i have is abt the analog inputs to the PLC. suppose i give an analog input to the
PLC.the PLC's A/D converter coverts it into a digital value and this value is stored in a register in the program. wat i want to know is how to use this value from the register to make comparisons.
Please suggest
