NFPA 1142 - rural supply calculations

NFPA 1142 - rural supply calculations

NFPA 1142 - rural supply calculations

(OP)
I've read paragraph 1.3 in NFPA 1142, which says that in some cases the AHJ may require an additional water supply, and Annex G could be used as a guide.

When is Annex G really used?  Why does Annex G exactly match the ISO recommendation for water suppies?

If I wanted to recommend a water supply for a rural community (with no AHJ input) should I recommend the normal calculation in NFPA 1142, or the Annex G calculation, or both added together?
