version 16 to tiff conversion issues

I am having a problem when I save a file as a tiff. The file size gets very large. I have created tiffs of this file in earlier versions and have had no problems. Now we are at version 16 and the file size is over 150 Megs when converted to tiff!  Is there a setting some where that I am missing?

RE: version 16 to tiff conversion issues

reduce the resolution from 300dpi to 96 (for example)

Where would that be located?

Go TOOLS->IMAGE->CAPTURE->OPTIONS and go ti the PIXEL tab and change the RENDERING QUALITY.

I found what I was looking for. It was under tools / option / compatibility / graphic formats / raster / configuration. I then experimented with different DPI and found that 500 worked best with fax group 4 compression. The file size was about 200 KB. Thanks for all the help
