Bolt Strain Gauges

(OP)
is it possible to fill the hole i have drilled in a bolt with normal superglue just before i put the strain gauge in or do i have to use the recommended A-2 adhesive?

RE: Bolt Strain Gauges

You absolutely should use the A-2 adhesive.  Super glue can be a solvent and damage your strain gage.  Furthermore super glue is only for super thin layers it is not functional to use it to fill a void or hole.
