How to create Dart between the two surfaces with given dimensions

(OP)
I am trying to create darts by using bead command but everytime when I am going to create/pick the point where I want to create dart I am getting error that point is not a part of surface.
Is anyone can help me out for how to create dart.
I already created two surface as a part of the drawing but I am not able to put dart pl. help me

RE: How to create Dart between the two surfaces with given dimensions

Two suggestions:

1. (this depends on how the point is created) Edit the point to add the surface as the support

2. (if you can't do #1) Project the point onto the surface and use the projection as the start of the dart
