Geo-textile installation for soil stabilization

(OP)
I am trying to find which is the best depth to install the geotextile during the construction of a road. I am doing a bearing capacity test in the lab with a cylinder penetrator of 50 mm diameter. the metal mould i put in the subgrade material is 152mm diameter and 127mm height. have you got any idea why in any type of geo-textile i use (woven or nonwoven) i have the max cbr value at the position of geo-textile 10 mm from top?

RE: Geo-textile installation for soil stabilization
