Showing the dimensions

(OP)

Hello
Is it possible to display the dimension lines of the model in assembly , part , and more importantly in visualization module..? It seems that one can only display the dimensions of the model in the Sketch module. I am working with 6.5.1 version
Thank you

RE: Showing the dimensions

I do not think this is possible in the current version.

But usually you can get round it by capturing the pic of the dimension in the sketch for report purpose.

In order to check the model, I would output the key dimension in a report file.

Yoman228 thank you but what do you mean exactly by"I would output the key dimension in a report file".

RE: Showing the dimensions

You can ask the coord of your model in the ouput, and from those coords, you can work out the diamension. However, I usually write a python script to do that and will only do it if the same CAE model will be use with different diamension for a lot of time.

If the model only need to run once. I will ask the checker to query the distance of the key diamension within viewer.
