I am trying to find a piece of 4140 material 44" OD 33.5" ID 14" long.  I would typically have a forging made for this piece but on this project I don't have time to wait for the forging.  Could anyone recommend a vendor to contact?

Your best bet is to call around to the ring rollers and see if they have anything that might work. That is awful big to be laying around. Mcinnes states 3 week delivery on in stock material.

If a casting will do you might want to give the centrifugal casting people a call.
