Do you have some advantages/disatvantages for steel pipe coatings? Any suggestion which to use (economical and tecnical reasons)?
For example:
AWWA C203 Coal-Tar Protective Coatings and Linings for Steel Water Pipelines
AWWA C210 Liquid-Epoxy Coating Systems for the Interior and Exterior of Steel Water Pipelines

Check with pipe fabricators on local availability of coatings and linings.

It will also make a difference whether you're looking a few odd pieces or miles of pipe.

Thanks to all of you for your help. Espacially the link from rconner was a great hint
