Assembly problem

Assembly problem

Assembly problem

(OP)
Hi all
My bus model is so completed so i divided it into four parts for many people solve it to save my time, but problem is that after finishing fours part, i realize that i can not assembly all of together. Please tell me what should be done in this case to save all the thing i have done in each parts and assembly it together ?

Thanks

Phanhung

RE: Assembly problem

You can either merge the parts to create a new complete part in the assembly module or you can assemble the parts seperately and tie them together in the interaction module.

Thanks corus

Four parts of my bus is two sides left and right, up and down floor. Each parts include many components (it is a car frame with thousand of components). For eacg parts i have done many things, such as partition, tie, coupling, mesh. I can not merge the model because each component in each part is different shape ans size so i have to design different properties for each one. I also can not assembly the parts separately because if i do in this way, i have to do again all the things i have done for each parts (partition, tie, coupling). So pls help me for some suggestions in this case.

Thanks
Phanhung

RE: Assembly problem

As Cours said, you can tie them together.
Interaction>create Constraint>Tie
and use the surface to surface method.
However, the tie surface should be away from the area of intresed.
