Is there any corelation between CBR and other soil load bearing tests?

RE: California Bearing Ratio

A CBR is a $150.00 test (well you also need a Proctor).  I'd just do the CBR test and move on with the pavement design.  One fringe benefit is there is a correlation between CBR and subgrade modulus, which can be helpful for the Structural design of industrial floor slabs.

RE: California Bearing Ratio

This is the same correlation that I use.  Nice job hosting that at your web site!
