Hi all,

I would like to know if it is possible to solve and save differents analysis with a macro file?

Thanks in advance.

RE: macro file

Yes it is.  The only thing you'll want to watch out for is overwriting the previous 'solve' command in the macro.  You can do this by changing the jobname.  You can be even more careful and use the /rename command to rename previous result (.rst, .rth, etc.) files so they're not overwritten.

In case you didn't know if you hit solve, go into the post processor, look at results, and then return to 'Solution', the following solve command will overwrite the previous result file.

Hope this helps,
Doug

Thank you for your answer.

In my case, I have 2 APDL files for and I would like to execute the APDL's files and save the 2 .db files for each run.

Could you explain the different steps to do this macro?

Thanks in advance.
