Allis Chalmers motor bearing

Allis Chalmers motor bearing

(OP)
Hi all,

My company has an Allis-Chalmers motor and would like to perform a complete overhaul on this motor. We would like to purchase new bearings, but are not sure who is now the current supplier for Allis-Chalmers motors.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE: Allis Chalmers motor bearing

I agree.  If it is a smaller motor with rolling bearings, the AFBMA number should be on the nameplate and you don't need the motor OEM for replacements.

Allis Chalmers turned into Siemens Allis, right?

Siemens is still operating a large motor facility in Norwood Ohio
