Thermal contact resistance - Interface to Soil

Thermal contact resistance - Interface to Soil

(OP)
I am looking for a reference that provides data on thermal contact resistance (C-m^2/W) for metal to soil interface.  In my application I have an enclosure that dissipates several Watts and is buried in soil.  I am aware that that values will depend highly on moisture contact and density of soil in contact with the enclosure.  I can calculate this value, however there are uncertainties about estimating voids and contact area with the enclosure.

In review of these past threads, I did not see reference to thermal contact resitance.
