Estimating boilermaker work

Estimating boilermaker work

Estimating boilermaker work

(OP)
Does anyone know of a good estimating guide that relates to boilermaker work. IE-boiler tube work etc? Thanks for your help.

RE: Estimating boilermaker work

This is very subjective.

Suggest that if you need work done, contact a reputable repair firm and go with them, perhaps T&E.

A new unit would be one thing....but after being in service one would not know until you "cut into" it. A firm estimate would likely be high to cover other items.

RE: Estimating boilermaker work

If you are looking at trying to frame some conceptual ideas and need to have an order of magnitude to compare and evaluate, Page puts out some good estimating manuals, for both detailed estimates and order of magnitude (i.e. calculating installation costs based on weights and sizes of equipment.
