Thermal load

Thermal load

(OP)
Dear all,

I'm trying to put a thermal load in a plate but it say me:
"SPECIFIC HEAT MUST BE DEFINED IN A TRANSIENT HEAT TRANSFER ANALYSIS"
but when I apply the thermal load I cannot define the specific heat, how can I do?

thanks,
Albert

RE: Thermal load

Specific heat is a material property.

-If you use ABAQUS/CAE for modeling then go to:
Property Module->Material Manager ->
Select you material (if you defined any) -> Edit /Create
Thermal->Specific Heat

-If you code the .inp file directly, then you have to use
"*SPECIFIC HEAT", for which you can find the exact usage description in the ABAQUS Keywords Reference Manual.
