Mirrored parts in assembly

Mirrored parts in assembly

Mirrored parts in assembly

(OP)
In our Assembly we have two sides. (left and right side)
The right sid is the mirror of the left side.

When we change our dimensions in the DesignTable of the left part the mirrored part (right part) changes too.

When we add a configuration in the DesignTable of the left part the mirrored part (right part) does not change, the configuration was not added to the mirrored part.

When we add a new configuration we mirror the part (left) again , but then we need to fix all our mates, and the extrudes that are refered to the face of the mirrored part.

Is there a easier way to do this, so we dont have to fix the errors ?

RE: Mirrored parts in assembly

(OP)
We've self found a solution for our problem.

After we add a configuration for the left part, we also add a configuration for the mirrored part (right part).

Thanks anyway,

Koen & Gregory (TDE Technologies)
