Creating Debug File in RSLogix 500

I have pretty much understood using the RS Emulate on a RSLogix 500 system. But to simulate real inputs, I have to program a debug file and use SQO. How can I create ladder program and have it treated as a debug file? Pls help.

RE: Creating Debug File in RSLogix 500

Right click the ladder file you wish to make a debug file and select Properties.  Check the "Debug" box by the attributes

What does setting that property do?  I have always set up a separate ladder and simulated my process with that i.e. I/O status.
